John Wallace, CEO
John Wallace is the chief executive officer of Caldwell Partners, a technology-powered talent acquisition firm specializing in recruitment and assessment at all levels through its two brands – Caldwell and IQTalent. He also serves on the firm’s board of directors.
A relentless results and client-focused leader, John draws on more than 25 years of experience driving exceptional results for leading recruitment firms based on objective measures, market intelligence, strategic planning initiatives, and clear targets for growth. His ability to successfully build high-functioning, client-centric teams has been a key driver in Caldwell’s exponential growth. Since becoming CEO in 2008, John has effected a strategic and exceptionally successful growth plan for the firm that has included launching operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific and integrating outcome-oriented service with innovative technology to deliver a wider range of talent acquisition solutions to our clients. He expanded the company’s spectrum of services to include candidate research and sourcing through to full recruitment at the professional level, as well as a suite of talent strategy and assessment tools through the acquisition of IQTalent Partners and Applied Behavioral Academy. As a result, Caldwell’s revenues have increased more than seven-fold in the course of his tenure.
Chris Murdock, Chief Sourcing Officer and Head of Sales & Growth
Chris Murdock is the founder of IQTalent. He is a veteran of the recruiting and talent acquisition industry and now leads search execution and growth for his 200+ person firm.
Prior to founding IQTalent in 2009 and establishing the company as a talent acquisition leader, Murdock worked with Yahoo!’s internal executive recruiting team, gaining in-depth experience across the technology recruiting sphere. He began his career with Heidrick & Struggles and later with TMP Worldwide, working in talent research and candidate sourcing. Murdock is an engaging and insightful speaker and thought leader, presenting at conferences across the globe. He is a published writer and a sought-after expert source regarding the world of work for numerous publications. Murdock earned his BA from Vanderbilt University, where he remains an active alumnus.
Jeremy Conner, Head of Operations and Client Engagement
Jeremy Conner is the Head of Operations and Client Engagement for IQTalent, a technology-driven, on-demand recruiting and executive search firm and subsidiary of Caldwell.
Conner is an established operations and accounting leader, bringing over a decade of public accounting experience as a CPA (inactive) to his current role. Conner joined IQTalent in 2015 after serving as a senior manager at the public accounting firm LBMC. As Head of Operations, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of IQTalent, overseeing finance, human relations, marketing, and information technology. In 2020, Conner managed the company’s successful merger with The Caldwell Partners, a publicly held executive search firm (TSX: CWL), bringing IQTalent to the forefront of professional recruiting, search, and human capital technology. Conner is a graduate of Belmont University, where he earned a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.
